Putrajaya Wetlands Park, the largest man-made freshwater wetlands in Malaysia and the tropics, functioning as the kidneys of Putrajaya. It play an important role in balancing the ecosystem through natural filtration of sediments, nutrients and contaminants from the 2 main rivers that flow into Putrajaya Lake, namely Sungai Chua and Sungai Bisa.
It’s a great nature getaway from the busy city around. There is bicycle track around the lake, campsite for an overnight stay, flamingo pond and observation tower. If you are searching on a place to spend with your friends and family or yourself, this is definitely a place to visit. Along the trail, there are many interesting and well designed pocket parks with layers of plant from land plants to water plants to be explored.
